BIOGRAPHY

 

Born in Caltagirone, from child age he had a passion for architecture and design and in 2010 enters the School of Architecture of Siracusa.

 

From the second year he participated in the experimental educational sites, whose scientific director is Prof. Arch. Luigi Alini, who later became a thesis advisor. the experimental educational sites was related by numerous seminars on-site safety, wooden buildings energy efficient, rammed earth buildings, taught by professionals of ANCE Siracusa, chamber of architects of Siracusa, knauf and saint gobain, and other famous architect.

The first experimental educational site was the MoAbS, on which he was part of the team work and he worked on 2D and 3D drawings and site supervision. The second experimental educational site was the wood gridshell "NeT", and finally the third was CU_Box on which he was part of the team work and he worked on 2D and 3D drawings. Currently he continues to work on other projects for experimental educational sites, direct from Prof. Arch. Luigi Alini.

 

From October 2009 to August 2013, also, he does apprenticeship at the architectural studio of Maurizio Oriente, which deals with 2D and 3D graphics processing, rendering and inspections on site. In this professional studio he has learned the techniques and tricks of the trade, thanks to numerous projects and building sites realized with the most modern technologies.

 

 

VISION

 

Each architectural project is a project stand-alone, inspired by the place, from matter, from the feelings and emotions that arouse. The form follows the function, but in a controlled way; as well as the backbone, sometimes hiding behind pure volumes, sometimes, instead, itself becomes architecture.
Simple materials are used with the more modern technology, to revive them and make them contemporary. The energy aspect is taken into consideration, but did not become a protagonist of the architectural design, but is integrated into it.
